Northcoders TechEd – the arm of the wider Northcoders Group responsible for helping employers reskill their workforce – has announced three new partnerships.
It will work with On the Beach and Moonpig to deliver its ReSkill programme, which supports existing employees with little to no prior experience in coding, helping turn them into project-ready developers.
The training provider has also announced a partnership with BJSS to supply 10 SMEs with the chance to upskill one employee at no cost to the business.
Using its apprenticeship levy-transfer, BJSS will fund placements for the 10 small business representatives on the ReSkill programme, which aims to help update the skills of people who are interested in staying with their current employer rather than leaving for a more digital business.
ReSkill encompasses training in JavaScript along with masterclasses in DevOps and Cloud, plus Human Skills workshops and more.
Amy Wild, Chief Commercial Officer at Northcoders, said: “These announcements are a fantastic start to 2022 as Moonpig, On the Beach and BJSS are all leaders in their respective sectors.
“We are delighted to support our partners’ growth ambitions by reskilling their current teams, by giving their employees the ability to change career paths and the attributes required to be a software developer.”
