The BBC is putting on a series of events for the digital and creative sector next month.
Digital Cities is backed by The Sharp Project, The Landing, MMU, Salford University, Manimation and The Lowry.
Speakers include periscope artist Amrit Singh, YouTuber Adriana Brae and Rick Murray from Endemol Shine North.
The programme features a digital skills training day for students; digital innovation; and the Queer Media Festival.
Harvey Nichols will play host to Digital Fashion Futures, with Coronation Street’s Catherine Tyldesley, Leanne Bayley, digital fashion lead at Glamour Magazine; designer to the stars Nadine Merbi; and Mark Leach from Missguided, for a discussion on what the future holds for the Manchester fashion industry.
