BBC Breakfast will be producing a special show to celebrate the life of Bill Turnbull.
It will air tomorrow morning (Friday) from 6am and feature former co-presenters Louise Minchin, Sian Williams and Susanna Reid.
The programme will also look at how he raised awareness about prostate cancer and shared his love of bee keeping.
Sports host, Mike Bushell, will be at Wycombe, the club he loyally supported and the team will also remember the lighter side, from Strictly to the times he discussed the weather with Carol Kirkwood.
“Bill Turnbull loved our viewers and our viewers loved him. Friday’s BBC Breakfast will be a celebration of Bill’s life on and off screen which her shared with millions of viewers every week,” said Editor Richard Frediani.
Bill Turnbull, who presented the show for 15 years, was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer in 2018. He died yesterday at his home in Suffolk, surrounded by his family.
