Bauer Media has signed Dawn French as the station voice of its national radio brand Greatest Hits Radio, which will be broadcast from Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow.
The station will play the biggest songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s and be available on national DAB, FM in the West Midlands and Liverpool, AM, online, and on mobile devices.
French is best known as one half of comedy duo French and Saunders and for playing Geraldine Granger in The Vicar of Dibley. She is currently staring alongside Julian Clary in Snow White at the London Palladium.
