Lime Pictures has further expanded its scripted team with the appointment of Audible’s Rebecca Fenton as head of development and Alison Loose as scripted production executive.

The hires follow the appointment last summer of Louise Sutton as executive producer of scripted content and the recent launch of Lime’s Kids division.

Before joining Liverpool-headquartered Lime, Fenton established and grew an award-winning portfolio of scripted audio drama productions for Amazon-owned Audible, most recently as senior commissioning lead – Audible Originals.

Her commissions there included The Jungle Book, Murder on the Orient Express and Blood on Satan’s Claw, with productions attracting stars including Dominic West, Rebecca Hall, David Tennant and Ruby Wax.

Alison Loose joins as scripted production executive from the BBC

Loose returns to Lime Pictures as a production executive working across both the Drama and Kids departments. Most recently she has been working in-house at BBC Children’s, taking care of the development slate and managing co-producer relationships. Her credits as a line producer include Last Tango in Halifax, Scott and Bailey and Home Fires.

Sutton said: “I am absolutely thrilled that Rebecca and Alison have joined the team. Rebecca’s editorial expertise, strategic background and stuffed contact book make her the perfect fit for scripted Head of Development and Alison brings with her a wealth of production experience on some of the biggest shows on television.”

Lime’s programming includes the double Emmy award-winning drama Free Rein for Netflix worldwide, Geordie Shore, Hollyoaks and BAFTA award-winning reality series The Only Way Is Essex.
