Andy Davidson has returned to Sheffield’s ASK4 as its new Chief Technology Officer and Product Director.
Davidson worked within the broadband and wifi specialist’s R&D function until 2016 and then moved into senior roles at Asteroid International and Allegro Networks.
He spent a decade as director of LONAP and is currently a director of Euro-IX and IXLeeds.
“It was a genuine pleasure to work with the ASK4 team back in 2015 and I have closely followed the company’s progress in recent years,” he said.
“There is enormous potential within the Group for developing an offering that adds significant additional value for clients in multiple sectors, and I am thrilled to be taking up this position to help shape that proposition.”
He’s the first senior appointment to be made by ASK4’s new CEO, Andrew Dutton, who joined the Group in October last year:
“The creation of this role is a significant, strategic investment that signals ASK4’s clear intent to enhance our technology platform and to develop new products and services for our clients and customers.
“Andy Davidson was the first and natural choice for the role, bringing with him a wealth of specialist sector experience, an existing and meaningful understanding of the clients we serve, and an ability to create innovative and practical solutions to challenging technical issues. I am delighted to welcome Andy to the team.”
