Asda partners with North West mobile specialists

Asda has appointed Apadmi to scale up its loyal app, Asda Rewards.

The Leeds supermarket giant has turned to the Manchester mobile specialist to help it meet its “ambitious” 5 year growth goals. That includes “injecting pace and facilitating growth” for the loyalty app.

“We’re excited to be collaborating with Apadmi to further strengthen our loyalty offering – we’re looking forward to drawing on their mobile expertise, especially in retail and loyalty,’ said Mark Baxter, Director of Asda Rewards.

“We strive to save our customers money, and to offer the best value possible for families across the country, so by further investing in our Asda Rewards app, we can continue to do this for many years to come.”

Apadmi is now working with Asda’s in-house team to prioritise, define and deliver new features, with high impact for both customers and the business.

They’ve already launched the new Asda Rewards Baby Club with Apadmi’s team promoting the new initiative via In-App Events in the app stores to maximise visibility and drive downloads for the app.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Asda – with more than 18 million people shopping with the retail giant every week, there’s a huge opportunity to deliver real impact through technology,” explained Apadmi’s Client Services Director Keeley Lee.

“Our collaboration is now underway and the Apadmi team is really excited to get stuck into the project and start unlocking more value for Asda and their customers.”
