Charlotte Cool the vice president of corporate affairs at Asda has left the company.
Cool joined the Leeds-based supermarket in September last year from John Lewis, where she was director of communications.
An Asda spokesperson said:
“Charlotte left Asda in September 2017 due to a restructure. During her time at Asda, Charlotte brought together our external communication, sustainability and corporate giving to create a clear strategy that continues. We’re grateful for the contribution she made to Asda and wish her well in the future.”
In September, Asda announced plans to cut 300 jobs across its offices in Leeds and Leicester, it was also changing 800 job descriptions.
It was expected that its marketing department in Leeds would be affected by the decision.
