Two figures have been promoted into senior roles at The Armstrong Partnership, the Chester full-service B2B marketing agency.
Maria Persia, who was previously the agency’s Account Director, takes up the role of Head of Client Services. She’ll be responsible for managing the account handling team and supporting clients, and overseeing a team of more than 10 account managers.
At the same time, Simon Andrews moves from the position of Head of Design to Creative Director, taking a view across the entire agency’s client roster and working on the development of the wider creative team’s skills.
Commenting on her appointment, Persia said: “The Armstrong Partnership is an agency like no other I’ve ever worked at. It’s an inspirational environment, full of creative minds at all levels and disciplines.
“I’m eager to see what this year brings and to help develop the business even further in 2022 and beyond.”
Andrews added: “With over 20 years’ experience in creative agencies, I’ve worked with many great creative directors and I’m looking forward to bringing the things I have learnt from these experiences as well as my own thoughts and ideas to the role.”
The Armstrong Partnership has announced plans to develop its creative offering further, and experienced a strong 2021, achieving turnover growth of 117% to surpass £3.4 million.
Daniel Owen, Chief Executive, said: “The year ahead looks incredibly promising for The Armstrong Partnership… We wanted to strengthen our senior team from within the agency, both Maria and Simon are so well respected in their teams.
“Both have been with us for some time now and understand the agency, our clients and their respective industries, and we are very fortunate to have such a talented pair as part of our leadership team.”
