Manchester’s Ben Wild Studios has collaborated with renowned creative director Phil Griffin and the team at Ark Studios to create a video for the potential Christmas number one single from animated mystery singer Trickster.

The song – the festively titled Thank F*** It’s Christmas – was co-written by former World Party member, Robbie Williams songwriter and producer, and The Mission collaborator Guy Chambers, and has been performed by Trickster along with the world-famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ben and his team created the animated moments of the music video which shows members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performing alongside Trickster. The film was produced by Ark Studios.

The song does contain some choice language, so be warned before you click below.

Thank F**k It’s Christmas

Wild and Griffin first worked together on the Diana Ross hit Thank You, which saw Ben Wild Studios create animated assets to form the single’s video, directed by Griffin and produced by Ark Studios.

Wild said: “I learnt so much from Phil when we worked on the Diana Ross video and the whole process fascinated me. To be able to work together again and so soon is a real coup – especially on a Christmas number one contender

“We’ve pulled out all the stops to turn this video around in two weeks and we can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction. Fingers crossed it tops the charts for Christmas Day!”

Wild, who is self-taught, left school at 15 to follow his dreams and has travelled the world to learn his craft. From working on a comic book, then landing a job with a film studio working as an on-site storyboard artist, to working with Manchester City and Gucci, Ben has drawn up an impressive list of clients in recent years.

With briefs ranging from animations, artwork for videos, social media graphics and storyboards for TV shows, Ben Wild Studios has been able collaborate with its clients and grow relationships from being project-based to retained accounts, all while delivering a consistent level of creative output.

As for the identity of the mystery animated singer, the team are keeping their cards close to their chests, though a certain Steve Furst does have a co-writing credit. If that’s the comedian Steve Furst, he does have form for crooning having toured with his Little Britain character Lenny Beige performing the songs of Neil Diamond, but that’s pure conjecture.
