Andrea Day is leaving travel news provider INRIX, to join BBC Radio Merseyside in September.
She first joined the company’s European headquarters in Altrincham in 2004 as a broadcaster and editor. More recently she took on a management role, running its client relations and communications.
“I’ve loved being involved with the changes and developments across so many radio stations over the past nine years through my work at INRIX,” she told RadioToday.
“Radio certainly has a different landscape now, to when I started. It’s an exciting time to join the BBC, especially at such a well-loved, characterful station as Radio Merseyside. I’m really looking forward to joining a great team there.”
