Pizza Hut has become the first casual dining restaurant in the country to have a loyalty and rewards app.
Created by Manchester agency, Amaze, it’s part of a wider policy for the company to appeal to the “millennial market.”
The App, which is available on iOS and Android enables customers to book tables, order takeaways and collect rewards when dining in.
“Developed with millennials in mind, the app has a striking new design and offers loyalty rewards, which we know this audience particularly values. The new app will play a key role in supporting our business needs as we progress with our integrated campaign and new website launch,” explained Victoria Clarke, Head of Marketing for Pizza Hut Restaurants.
The “striking new design” is the first look at the company’s new look branding, featuring a neon pallet of colour, again to appear to a younger audience.
“In helping develop the app, the team has concentrated heavily on the valuable millennials market and created an experience that appeals specifically to them,” added Caroline Pankhurst, business director at Amaze.
“The result is an enhanced customer experience with more insight into consumer behaviours, which critically, will help Pizza Hut Restaurants inform future marketing decisions and support in its commercial growth plans too.”
Amaze worked alongside Adactus, which was responsible for the app build.
