From recognising viral influencer campaigns to PPC campaigns that have delivered impressive results, there’s plenty of campaign focused categories to celebrate your work at the Prolific North Marketing Awards.

Early bird entries are now officially open until 2 July for the Prolific North Marketing Awards 2024, where we’ll be celebrating the best campaigns, teams and ambitious individuals across the marketing industry in the North and Scotland.

With plenty of categories that recognise the scale and variety of ambitious marketing work, we’ve pulled together a handy guide of all the campaign focused awards up for grabs this year.

Best B2C CampaignMade a big impact on consumers, helped drive sales and built loyalty through a recent campaign? This category is for you! The winning entry will have reached new audiences through innovative and forward-thinking activity, and had a tangible, provably positive impact.

Best B2B CampaignThis campaign award is for any agency or brand proud to have made a difference in the B2B sphere through a recent project which has boosted sales, brand awareness and market share.

Best B2C PR CampaignThis award is for campaigns that have succeeded in grabbing headlines and attention in the press. From trade, consumer, TV or print, this award will recognise the campaign that has delivered value and response through creative and well-executed PR.

Best B2B PR Campaign The winner of this award will have crafted a B2B PR campaign that has demonstrated exceptional creativity, strategy, and execution in the B2B space. Whether it’s through thought leadership, strategic partnerships or innovative storytelling, this award will celebrate a campaign that has successfully delivered measurable impact and value.

Best Small Budget Campaign If you’re a brand or agency that has created a successful campaign costing under £50,000 that has helped boost sales or new business, this category is for you. 

Best Large Budget CampaignThe winner of this award will have launched and executed a campaign worth more than £50,000 with provably positive results. Whatever the channel, the judges will want to hear about those high-impact campaigns that allocated budget sensibly, creatively, and above all, effectively.

Best Brand Building Campaign A successful brand building campaign involves more than just showing consumers a product – it’s important to develop trust and mutual understanding. The winner of this award will have grown their own or their clients’ brand with care and efficiency, helping them develop into a well-known name.

Best Integrated CampaignThe winner of this award will have used and unified campaign messaging across social and traditional media channels, using multiple channels to creatively reach an audience and be able to demonstrate success by using a multi-channel approach.

Best PPC Campaign This award celebrates the best pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns that have achieved outstanding results through strategic targeting, compelling ad creative, and effective optimisation techniques. The judges will be looking for campaigns that have demonstrated exceptional ROI, driving measurable outcomes such as increased conversions, improved click-through rates, and enhanced brand visibility.

Best Influencer CampaignHave you been able to leverage the power of influencers to connect with audiences in meaningful ways through a campaign? Look no further than this category, which awards campaigns that have effectively harnessed the influences of trusted voices to drive brand awareness and achieve marketing objectives.

Best Search Marketing CampaignThis award will go to a campaign that has helped a product or service reach the top spot in the search results and effectively engaged a new audience through the power of the search engine.

Best Social Media Campaign This category will award imaginative and compelling content that takes advantage of the power and reach of social media to make a real difference and cut through the noise.

Best Out of Home AdvertisingFrom billboards, rail displays or digital screens, this category will be awarded to a creative OOH campaign that has powerfully been able to convey its message through brilliant design.

Best Response to Change –  This award will recognise a company with an effective response to an external or internal crisis, upheaval or pivot. Whether this is via communications, digital or branding, the winner will have shown imagination and tenacity in adapting to change.

Best Social Purpose Campaign This category recognises the best campaign over the past 12 months that has championed an ethical cause, including – but not limited to – sustainability, inclusivity and accessibility. If you’ve stood up for what matters through a successful marketing campaign, you could be taking home the trophy.

Best Use of Data & Insights The power of good data can’t be overstated, no matter how creatively brilliant a campaign! This award will recognise an agency or brand that has capably delved into research and insight to launch a successful campaign, driving sales and increased revenues as a result.
