There are plenty of campaign and sector specific categories to enter and reward your team’s successes at this year’s Prolific North Marketing Awards.

Continuing to celebrate marketing talent and innovation across the North for the 11th year running, the live awards event will return to Manchester United FC on 12 October.

To recognise the scale and variety of campaigns created by the region’s marketing sector, here are all the dedicated campaign categories:

Campaign categories

Best B2C Campaign –  If you’re a company that has crafted a campaign which has had a huge impact on consumers, driven sales and built loyalty, this category is for you. The winning entry will have tapped into new audiences through innovative and forward-thinking activity. 

Best B2B Campaign – This award is for either an agency or brand that is proud to have made a difference in the B2B world through a recent campaign. Has the campaign boosted sales, branded awareness and market share? The judges would love to see your work!

Best Small Budget Campaign – Through a small budget campaign that cost under £50,000, this category is for brands and agencies that have achieved tangible successes, winning new business and generating sales through bold campaigns.  

Best Large Budget Campaign – The winner of this award will have launched and executed a campaign worth more than £50,000 with provably positive results. Whatever the channel, we want to hear about those high-impact campaigns that allocated budget sensibly, creatively, and above all, effectively.

Best Social Purpose Campaign – This category recognises the best campaign over the past 12 months that has championed an ethical cause, including – but not limited to – sustainability, inclusivity and accessibility. If you’ve stood up for what matters through a successful marketing campaign, you could be a winner!

Best Search Marketing Campaign – This award will be presented to a campaign that has helped a product or service reach the top spot in the search results and effectively engaged a new audience through the power of the search engine.

Best PR Campaign – Grabbed the headlines and attention in the press – whether it’s trade or consumer, online, print or TV? Whis award will recognise the campaign that has delivered value and response through creative and well-executed PR.

Best Response to Change –  This award will recognise those whose response to an external or internal crisis, upheaval or pivot has been the most effective. Via communications, digital or branding, the winner will have shown imagination and composure in adapting to change.

Best Integrated Campaign – We are looking for campaigns that unify messaging across social and traditional media channels. The winner of this award will have used multiple channels creatively to reach an audience where they are, and demonstrate the success of their multi-channel efforts.

Best Use of Data & Insights – The power of good data can’t be overstated, no matter how creatively brilliant a campaign! This award will recognise an agency or brand that has capably delved into research and insight to launch a successful campaign, driving sales and increased revenues as a result.

Best Brand Building Campaign – A successful Brand Building campaign involves more than just showing consumers a product – it’s important to develop trust and mutual understanding. The winner of this award will have grown their own or their clients’ brand with care and efficiency, helping them develop into a well-known name.

Best Social Media Campaign – Social media is the place where brands can really let loose and show users what matters to them. This category will award imaginative and compelling content that takes advantage of the power and reach of social media to make a real difference and cut through the noise.

Best Out of Home Advertising – This category will be awarded to a creative OOH campaign. From billboards, rail displays or digital screens, we’re looking for a campaign that powerfully conveys its message through brilliant design.

Sector Specific campaigns  

Best Tourism & Leisure Campaign – If you’re a brand or agency whose campaign has driven the uptake of holidays, getaways, day trips and activities, this award could be yours.

Best Health Campaign – This award will be presented to a brand or agency who worked on a successful campaign promoting health and wellbeing. The successful entry will be able to display the positive effects of their work and how it drove uptake in the world of healthcare.

Best Education Campaign – Getting behind education through marketing can have an enormous impact. This will recognise the marketing campaign that has championed the education world and promoted new and classic ways of learning to ensure more learners across the board, with demonstrable results.

Best Professional & Financial Services Campaign – Have you stood up and celebrated a professional or financial services organisation? This award will recognise how creative brilliance has supported the tangible success of new and established providers, from consultancies, banks and lawyers to accountants and insurers.

Best Property & Construction Campaign – Whether it’s by achieving brand awareness, bolstering property sales, footfall or investment across the property & construction sector, this category will be awarded to a fantastic campaign celebrating this sector.

Best Ecommerce/Retail Campaign – This award will recognise the campaign which successfully drove consumers through shop doors and got them purchasing. Whether digital, traditional or at point-of-sale, we want to see the campaigns which had the biggest impact on customer decisions and led to the most dramatic success.

Best Not-For-Profit Campaign – This free-to-enter category is for the creators of any campaign that has promoted the success of a charity or non-profit, ensuring its long-term success and helping it continue its good work. If you’ve stood up for what matters, this one’s for you!
