Agent Academy appoints former Tech Nation people chief

Agent Academy has appointed former Tech Nation People Operations Manager, Yasmin Lord-Pottinger, as head of Agent Academy.

Lord-Pottinger, who also previously served as MyTutor.co.uk’s People Operations Lead, will replace Zoe Wallace, who has transitioned into the role of partnerships director for both Agent Academy and sister enterprise, Agent.

Agent Academy, with locations in Manchester and Liverpool, has been working since 2014 to elevate the skills of the next generation of digital, creative, and tech professionals, preparing them for employment in emerging careers. With a remarkable track record of success, over 95 per cent of graduates have landed positions in the creative and digital industries, generating an impressive combined annual salary estimated at over £17m.

Lord-Pottinger, who will be based at Agent Academy’s Manchester Oxford Road office, has more than eight years of experience in HR, where she has honed her skills in working with high-growth tech startups to develop innovative people functions and teams. Throughout her career, she has remained focused on supporting career advancement and personal growth, while also creating inclusive and supportive work environments that foster collaboration and success.
