Luke Barnett has returned to the Social Group to take on a new role as head of video and photography with for the curious.
Barnett left Social after five years just over a year ago, joining the Mill Group and then Ear to the Ground. He has now been welcomed back to drive growth in the expanding creative agency’s video and photography offering.
With a decade of production experience, Luke’s career started out working on flagship shows including Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice. He has since gone on to work on campaigns for the likes of PlayStation, Asda and The National Lottery.
Creative agency for the curious was established to spin Social’s creative arm off as a dedicated agency. The nine-strong team offers its design, video, social media and digital services to consumer-facing brands wanting to find their authentic voice, solve problems and create content that makes a difference.
The agency’s growing client roster now includes beauty, transport and food and drink brands.
Barnett said: “Coming back to the Social Group was a no-brainer for me. for the curious is going from strength to strength and I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to play my part in its success. I’m really looking forward to leading our video and photography offering as we look at expand into new and emerging sectors.”
