Macclesfield-based digital design agency Nexer Digital has reported annual turnover growth of 68%, achieving a record-breaking £6.9 million.
It has also announced its plans to continue extending its work with culture and heritage clients, having seen success in 2021.
Nexer Digital, which works with clients including Mind, NHS Digital, AstraZeneca and the Department for Education, has a further office in Cambridge. Its team grew from 55 to 90 over the course of the year, and the agency has revealed plans to recruit at least a further 20 by May – the 15th anniversary of its launch.
“Our successes over the past year have paved the way to several exciting new opportunities, as well as allowing us to further expand our brilliant delivery team,” said Hilary Stephenson, MD at Nexer Digital. “An uptake in demand for capability in content strategy and service design has led to an exciting influx of talent in these areas.
“Our overall design group now includes specialist teams in user research, content design, interaction design, service design and product management, and this has been one of the most noteworthy changes of the year.”
“Our commitment to diversity and inclusion continues to be a key focus in 2022. This means extending our current networks to reach more diverse talent, putting in place capability development plans and starting a mentoring programme to support people in the earlier stages of their careers.”
Nexer Digital was previously known as Sigma IT until its rebrand in February 2021, and was founded in 2007. It’s part of Swedish technology firm Nexer Group which has over 2,000 staff worldwide.
