Manchester-based creative agency Music has been selected to work on the launch of new consumer brand ScreenUK.
ScreenUK, launched by both the British Film Institute (BFI) and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), is a new global brand aimed at showcasing UK talent internationally across film, TV, animation and video games.
Following a competitive pitch, Music was selected to develop the brand strategy, digital platform and launch campaign for ScreenUK.
After a consultation period involving industry stakeholders from the UK screen sectors, the agency created the ScreenUK brand aimed at amplifying the work of UK talent.
The agency has also developed a digital platform to promote talent and content internationally, in a bid to drive awareness of UK content.
David Simpson, Creative Director of Music said: “It has been an absolute privilege bringing the ScreenUK brand to life. Working alongside the BFI and project stakeholders from across the UK, who champion and curate an incredible breath of screen content, we are proud to have created a brand which reflects the quality, creativity and vibrancy of what the UK has to offer in this arena.”
