Sheffield agency Rise at Seven has reported a turnover of £1.5million in its first year of business – with plans to double that over the next year.

The company – which also has an office in London – grew headcount from two to 24 over the 12 months and works with clients including Missguided, ODEON, USwitch and Matalan.

The agency, which was founded in June last year by creative director Carrie Rose and technical SEO director Stephen Kenwright, offers SEO, content, creative and digital PR services.

It says that monthly revenue increased 110% since lockdown began, with an extra five staff joining the team.

Co-founder Carrie Rose said: “What was missing in this industry is a search-led creative agency which not only delivered measurable results but made clients and brands feel awesome about it too.

“At Rise at Seven there is a drive to constantly disrupt – whether that’s our industry or our clients and no-one in the search industry has done this as of yet.

“This year has been an amazing roller coaster, to say the least, but we have plans to more than double revenue in year two as well as our headcount expanding both our London and Sheffield offices.

The agency is moving into a new 3,000 sq ft office in St Paul’s Place in Sheffield city centre.
