News UK has created new senior roles in Manchester to handle agency and direct clients for its print brands.
Emma Thompson will become Head of Trading, handling both digital and print while Ollie Scull has been named Head of Content Solutions for the regions.

Internally, we want to diversify our revenue streams through digital growth and through maximising our trading deals.”
Thompson has spent 22 years in the industry, focusing on sales for news brands, with some time spent on the agency side and within digital marketing.
Scull has spent the last 7 years at News UK’s Manchester officer, as Head of Digital and Solutions. Prior to that he was at IPC media for 14 years.
News UK has regional commercial teams in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, selling across The Times, Sunday Times and The Sun on all platforms.
