Leonard Curtis has been appointed as the administrators for Bentley Harrington ltd, the company behind Unilad.
Joint administrators, Andrew Poxon and Andrew Duncan said they were seeking offers for the business, in order to preserve jobs and “maximise the return to creditors.”
Unilad employs more than 200 people at its Manchester office.
This morning, a court heard that the company owed more than £6m, with £5m owed to a creditor and £1.5m to HMRC.
According to discussions in court there are a number of parties interested in acquiring the firm, which has 60m social media followers, with a 1bn weekly reach and 4bn video views across its 9 channels.
