Accord has launched an integrated, multimedia campaign for Claire House Children’s Hospice.

The Merseyside-based charity briefed Accord with helping to support its fundraising efforts having seen an 84% increase in the number of seriously and terminally ill children at the hospice over the past six years.

Targeting Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and North Wales, the robust cross-channel campaign sought to raise awareness of the hospice’s work and generate a surge of donations.

Lucy Boland, Accord’s Agency Director (North), said: “Claire House Children’s Hospice provides a lifeline for families going through the toughest of times and the work they do is nothing short of inspiring. We are very proud to be working on this campaign and have decided to offer our creative services free of charge to support this wonderful cause.”

Janet Abraham, Supporter Insight and Development Manager, added: “Due to the dramatic increase in the number of children being referred to the hospice in recent years, we need to drive as many donations as possible to fund our work.

“This campaign will have an invaluable impact on preserving the vital services that we provide, and we have full confidence that Accord will be able to help us achieve our fundraising objectives.”

Accord, which recently hired Mark Lewsey as head of marketing, is a charity specialist with offices in Manchester, London and Devon.
