Accenture says it’s expanding its “government transformation capabilities in the UK” with its acquisition of 6point6.
The tech consultancy, which specialises in cloud, data and cybersecurity employs around 400 staff across it Manchester and London offices.

With a client list covering both public and private sector, 6point6 was founded in 2012 and has recently undertaken the largest cloud migration in Europe, with the shift of an entire government department to a single cloud-based digital infrastructure.

Details of the deal haven’t been published and it is subject to regulatory clearance.
