BBC Radio 5 Live is shaking up its Friday schedule with a new show from comedians Elis James and John Robins.
The pair, who have been presenting together on Radio X since 2014, will host a new weekly entertainment show on 5 Live, beginning on Friday 31st May.
James is a regular on 5 Live’s Fighting Talk and also presents the Feast of Football podcast for BBC Radio Wales.
Robins has appeared on Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week and won the Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly the Perrier Award) in 2017 for his show The Darkness of Robins.
The new two-hour show – which will be will be produced by Dave Masterman and MediaCityUK-based Audio Always – will air from 1pm every Friday, moving Kermode and Mayo’s Film Review slot to 3pm-5pm and 5 Live Drive on Fridays to 5pm-7pm.
