The Manchester Business Growth Hub has issued a tender for a £200k PR contract.
Starting this December, the 2 year contract runs until the end of the 2018 – with an option to extend for a further 6 months.
The organisation said it was looking for a single service provider to encompass “general media relations and editorial support.”
The tender deadline is 30th November, with interviews taking place at the start of December and the winning agency announced on 8th December.
It expects the PR agency to work around 10 days a month to deliver the service, but should the number of days required be changed higher or lower, payment will be calculated on a “pro rata” basis. This means that the overall budget could increase to a maximum of £300k.
The agency will need to demonstrate that they can achieve regular coverage in local titles “including but not limited to” 10 local council areas in Greater Manchester; coverage in trade titles relating to sector focus areas as appropriate; and coverage in national titles “as appropriate”.
