PwC is to create 1000 new technology focused jobs in Manchester, with 100 of these set to advertised immediately.
The consultancy group plans to recruit the remainder over the next 3 years.
The roles will be based at its tech operation at No 1 Spinningfields and will focus on developing technology products for use across its business and for clients.
It’s the latest Northern expansion for the group, which also has offices in West Yorkshire.

More than half of our staff are now based outside London and that proportion will continue to grow,” said Kevin Ellis, PwC Chairman and Senior Partner.
