We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Account Director or Senior Social Media Account Manager to develop and execute client strategies, deepen and grow our client relationships and nurture our exceptional team.

Working to create best-in-class strategies, breakthrough creative content and leveraging both established and emerging platforms, you will lead all social media activities with the aim of hitting client objectives and delivering extraordinary results.

Working collaboratively with the Jammers, you will build and lead strategies and campaigns that will harness the technology and the creative power of social media to efficiently and effectively build our clients’ brands, promote their services and offerings, and drive sales.

Reporting into the Client Services Director, you will direct and lead on client strategies and ensure client service excellence.

As an integrated communications agency we devise and deliver comprehensive marketing solutions, utilising a combination of tactics that support clients in meeting strategic business objectives, encompassing everything from web (UX / UI / build), paid media, social media (paid and organic), PR, creative, digital outreach, brand development and more.

Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the broader marketing mix but will be focussed on delivering Social Media and helping to grow our Social Media offering.

Typical responsibilities

  • Devise and implement data-driven content strategies across social media channels, including day to day management of social calendars and content.
  • Allocate and assign resources in coordination with the creative team to deliver all social media work to brief, on budget and on time.
  • Own the planning, conceptualisation, creation, posting and community management across all client accounts, including Instagram (In-Feed, Stories, Reels), Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest. Other platforms may be required from time to time.
  • Write engaging and compelling copy, with the ability to tell stories across posts, platforms and campaigns.
  • Monitor clients’ social channels daily to ensure accuracy against agreed scope and objectives, identifying any errors to be rectified.
  • Own the execution of campaign rollouts across multiple social channels and platforms.
  • Devise and deliver targeted paid social media campaigns that provide ROI on LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter, TikTok etc as needed.
  • Spot opportunities for organic growth and proactively formulate a strategy to expand the service offering to your clients, selling ideas and concepts with conviction and enthusiasm.
  • Provide robust reporting of organic and paid social media, translating monthly performance and analytics data to actionable insights and strategy changes.
  • Guide and lead your direct reports to provide the highest quality of social media content, prioritising your own and the team’s workload.
  • Manage and lead client relationships, confidently presenting to clients.
  • Play a key role in supporting Jam’s new business drive – you will be involved from lead generation stage (nurturing prospects), to leading proposals and delivering outstanding pitches.

About You

  • Uber-organised and detail-oriented individual, an excellent facilitator who is highly proactive.
  • Knowledgeable and comfortable working across varied Social Media Platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok and Pinterest.
  • Confident and proficient user of Google Analytics and similar tools to track KPIs, analyse trends, and report on campaign effectiveness to clients.
  • An experienced Social Media strategist, capable of creating extraordinary content that matches the tone and voice of the client brand and their customers.
  • A confident manager with a safe-pair of hands for both the agency and clients, capable of thinking quickly and solving problems.
  • Strong relationship and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with proven experience developing talent and nurturing a growing team.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills, with experience of cultivating senior client relationships.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen with experience of growing revenues and effectively managing campaign budgets across B2B and B2C clients.
  • Lives and breathes social, staying up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure campaigns remain cutting-edge.
  • Proven experience in leading new business pitches.
  • Minimum 2 years of working at a senior level in an agency environment.
  • Knowledge of fully integrated digital solutions, including paid and organic search, web development and broader digital activity is preferred but not essential.
