We have two roles available currently: Senior Strategist - Brand Communications; and Senior Media Planner. Both are ideal roles for anyone looking to advance their careers at one of the largest marketing agencies outside of London.

With a strong commitment to effectiveness, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Media Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing comprehensive media plans, particularly in digital channels, and possess a keen understanding of effective measurement techniques that help our clients fully understand the impact of their marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

Media Strategy Development 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with business goals and target audience.
  • Leverage extensive experience to focus on existing and evolving digital paid channels.
  • Be able to communicate how paid media plans work within the wider paid, owned and earned channel ecosystem

Digital Channel Expertise

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the latest trends,technologies, and best practices in digital media.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and continuously identify new opportunities for growth and engagement in the digital landscape.

Media Planning

  • Create detailed and data-driven media plans that optimise budget allocation across various digital platforms at a top-line level for
    activation by the paid media delivery team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of media plans and reporting of effectiveness.

Measurement and Analytics

  • Be the link between the data science and paid media teams to establish and implement robust measurement frameworks to
    assess the effectiveness of media campaigns.
  • Utilise key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyse and optimise strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous
    improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the creative team to support broader understanding of channel execution and potential creative opportunities
  • Collaborate with external partners and media owners to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Budget Management

  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal ROI and adherence to financial targets.
  • Provide regular budget updates and performance reports to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in media strategy, with a focus on digital channels.
  • Proven success in developing and executing successful media plans for diverse clients or brands across sectors, D2C and commerce would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in using media planning tools and analytics platforms such ad Nielsen Ad Intel, Google Analytics and TGI/YouGov etc.
