Full Time

We’re looking for a digital marketing manager to take a hands-on role in the delivery of key client campaigns.

We offer true hybrid working, with flextime and a generous annual salary increase scheme (up to 7% each year) alongside training and advancement opportunities.

What makes us different?

We want to get the best out of our team; we have a sensible hybrid-working and flexitime policy that allows you to be in an office when you want but work remotely when it's more sensible.  We’re big on training and self-improvement, we have an annual salary increase scheme (up to 7% each year).

We have social events, but we don’t enforce socialising. We respect our teams’ work-life balance.

For our clients, the big difference is our approach to strategy. We run discovery and strategy creation workshops, we create strategy playbooks that align with our client's goals then we adjust and optimise based on real-world data.

Our campaigns perform better because we dig deep into our client's businesses and their customers, so we understand the buying cycle and our client's customers pain points.

About this role

You’ll be supporting our senior marketing managers, helping them with everything from reporting and content production to creative ideas and strategy. Working with multichannel experts across disciplines as diverse as content marketing, SEM, eCRM and digital advertising, you’ll naturally be experienced enough to understand the uses and strengths of each channel.

As someone who has had at least two years of experience in a digital agency or in an in-house team you will have enjoyed being involved in both the production and management of marketing projects and campaigns, as well as organising budgets, schedules and planners, creating reports and monitoring performance, alongside developing your marketing knowledge.

By its nature, the role will be varied - your mission will be to use your skills to drive commercial success for our clients, through campaigns and experiences people will love.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients and partners on work in progress and results
  • Coming up with campaign ideas people will love
  • Generating reports and creating insight from the data
  • Creating content for social channels, blogs, emails and landing pages
  • Nurturing social accounts and channels - and driving growth
  • Making visual social assets using platforms such as Canva
  • Monitoring - and helping to grow - client performance across channels

Key Skills

  • At least two years working in an environment where you’ve been exposed to multichannel digital campaigns across disciplines such as SEO/PPC, organic and paid social media, influencer marketing, video and inbound/content marketing
  • Experience in managing people and partnerships
  • Versatility and understanding of different marketing channels and their uses and benefits. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but a working understanding is important
  • Hands-on experience in planning, production and promotion of campaign work for clients
  • Demonstrable previous success, having worked on multiple projects and campaigns in a digital or creative marketing agency environment
  • Excellent ability to take briefs and turn them into ideas and moments that clients - and their customers - will love, drawing on your own strengths and those of your colleagues
  • Highly organised, with amazing written and verbal communication skills and a love of working with and being around people

Desirable Skills

  • Background in content marketing, PR or social media roles would be nice because that’s what we do, but it’s not a prerequisite
  • Additional design skills or experience using tools such as InDesign, Photoshop
  • Video editing, animation or graphics skills (for social video, not Oscars entries)
  • Ability to write copy and work across different media and channels
  • Certifications across relevant platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics

Benefits

  • Hybrid home/office working policy (we are based in the Northern Quarter, Manchester)
  • Up to 7% annual salary increase each December. Ad-hoc bonuses.
  • Holidays: 31 days , plus one extra per year
