Social Chain has revealed further details about its North American expansion.
The Manchester agency first revealed to Prolific North back in September last year that it planned to open a New York office and that has now materialised with 12 staff based out of Brooklyn.
They will be led by recently appointed managing director, Sam Budd.
“I’m immensely proud of the US team, not only for having officially opened stateside in a matter of weeks, but for having secured several clients in the first two months of our launch,” said Budd.
“The crucial thing I have learned over the years is finding a way to truly deliver results for these clients and as we have seen with Boohoo this is not an overnight project! Our focus now needs to be growing these into global, long term partnerships which I am confident we can do drawing from our UK operations.”
The US clients include Glasses USA, Kiss Cosmetics, Naked Wardrobe, Prps, HSN and Olive Garden.
“It’s extremely exciting that the US is now our fastest growing market. We plan on putting a great deal of focus and some of our strongest talent behind it to accelerate,” added Steve Bartlett, co-founder and CEO.
“Myself, Dom [co-founder] and the board, are really excited by the energy and experience that Sam will bring to the table with the US and look forward to continuing Social Chain’s global expansion. We already have our eyes set on LA in 2018.“
The Manchester firm also has operations in London and Berlin.
