Watch: Startups face judges as part of University Entrepreneurs Challenge

Five shortlisted start-ups have pitched their businesses to a panel of judges as part of the University Entrepreneurs Challenge.

The event, which is run in conjunction with the Educate North Awards, are battling it out for cash investment prizes, with the winner announced at The Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester on April 26th.

Alison Tarpey-Black hosts a special video giving an insight into the pitch process, held at The Sharp Project, which involved The Literacy Company, Unit3 Design, Red Pencil Productions, Maths of the Day and Algolib.

The judges were Professor Sue Smith of The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), businessman Phil Hodari (The Pilot Group), John Guilfoyle, CTO of CCL Digital and Susan Rutherford, chair of the Lancashire Business Improvement District.
