Venture Stream makes six new hires as it bids to treble in size in three years

Newcastle e-commerce and digital marketing agency Venture Stream has made six appointments including a new Head of Development as it plans to treble in size over the next three years.

Andrew Surrey joins as Head of Development from creative technology agency Tangent Snowball.  His new role will see him lead on a number of e-commerce website development projects.

Rob Stanley starts as a Senior Magento Developer from Manchester-based CTI digital and will support in delivering a number of significant ecommerce website builds.

Futhermore, Dean Dolan arrives from digital agency BLISS as a front-end website developer, Gareth Banfi from The Pen Shop as e-commerce manager, and Collay Dennis as a Digital Marketing Executive.

Daniel Barclay has also started a 16-month apprenticeship facilitated by Middlesbrough-based professional services apprenticeship company 3AAA.

Managing Director Vic Morgan said: “This is an exciting time for Venture Stream as we embark on ambitious plans to rapidly grow the business and remain at the forefront of ecommerce and digital marketing.

“Each of our new team members arrives with a superb track record and will be a fantastic addition to our team as we focus on our strategic service delivery going forward.”

The company has seen over 60% growth in the last 12 months and doubled its client roster to service over 40 clients, including The Pen Shop, Barbour and Yogamatters.
