3D software provider, EON Reality, has recruited 15 students from its content creation course.
The 11 men and 4 women graduated from its Virtual Reality Innovation Academy, which is based at Central Park in East Manchester.
“We’re really pleased to recruit these talented young people. They have worked extremely hard over the past year and shown a real passion for 3D content production,” said Ken Swain, EON Reality’s UK managing director.
“Last year’s recruits have just come back from Brazil and these graduates will get the chance to work on some equally exciting projects with global brands in the fields of education, business and entertainment. We are committed to training and recruiting local young people and look forward to welcoming a new cohort of students to our VR Innovation Academy in September.”
At the company’s official launch in March last year, it promised to create 240 new jobs over the next 3 years and it would be offering 100 free places each year on its 12 month coding course.
These 15 graduates qualified from that first course as 3D developers, 3D artists or 2D creatives. The next one starts on September 1st.
