Leeds agency Brass has been appointed by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to launch a campaign to help SMEs develop global markets by trading online.
Brass is tasked with developing an integrated marketing campaign – set for launch next month – to target companies at different stages of their “internet journey”.
John Morgan, Brass chief executive, said: “This campaign will help SMEs start to venture into online trading with confidence.
“It will target businesses that range from the inexperienced, novice internet user who currently trades from ‘bricks and mortar’ premises to more experienced traders who might benefit from refining their e-commerce approach.”
UKTI is the government department that helps UK-based companies to succeed globally, as well as helping overseas companies to invest in the UK economy.
Earlier this year Brass produced a series of films for UKTI highlighting the role played by British businesses in delivering the 2012 Olympics.
Other clients include Tangerine Confectionery, Hammonds, StepChange and BBC Television Licensing.
