Chillblast, an award-winning custom PC builder and manufacturer, is the latest event partner confirmed for Prolific North’s brand new event – Unlocking the Next Level of Liverpool’s Gaming Industry.
Hosted on May 23 at Barclays Eagle Labs in Liverpool, we’ll be uniting those working across the games industry and beyond to not only showcase what Liverpool has to offer but to address industry challenges and opportunities too.
“Liverpool is fast becoming one of the strongest locations in the UK for games development. As a North West business, Chillblast is proud to sponsor the event and we look forward to meeting some new and existing partners,” said Christian Bartley, Managing Director of Chillblast.
We can now reveal more industry speakers you can expect to hear from on the day too. Ben Hughes, Global Learning & Development Manager at Sumo Group, will be hosting a special keynote session on the development of talent in the gaming industry.
Hughes is an L&D expert with 16 years of experience and has worked with major brands like Sky and Audi. Passionate about practical L&D solutions, he believes in putting people first and at Sumo Group, he optimises learning, development, and team clarity.
Caroline White, Creative Consultant and Community Engagement Manager at the MediaCity Immersive Technologies Innovation Hub, will be appearing on the first panel at the event where we’ll be delving into Liverpool’s rich gaming heritage, the key players in the region today, plus a closer look into what’s unique about Liverpool’s games hub.
She brings more than 15 years of experience in the sector and has collaborated with BBC, XR Stories, and more, contributing to economic development projects in the North West gaming industry. She joins Phil Owen, Head of Engineering at d3t; Clemens Wangerin, Founder of Digital Advisors; and George Rule – Community & Marketing Lead at Lucid Games.
