Cheshire ethical fintech Suits Me has appointed Justin Taylor, formerly chief architect at ill-fated Manchester vehicle data unicorn wejo, as chief technology officer.
The appointment comes at a time of significant growth and momentum for Suits Me, where more than 130,000 new customers have opened accounts since 2023 as the company continues to develop its proposition and expand. Suits Me also recently opened a second office in Manchester in addition to its Knutsford HQ.
With a background in cloud and data engineering Taylor brings a wealth of experience to the new role, having also held senior tech roles at FoodHub and SeaV, at a time where AI and data drives decisioning. He will play a crucial role in strategic thinking, with a view to growing the team with pace and diligence.
Matthew Sanders, Suits Me CEO and founder, said: “I welcome Justin to join our exceptional team as CTO to the company. Having worked with Justin in previous years, I know how much value he can add and strengthen our position in the market. Justin’s heritage in engineering and design will be of tremendous value, particularly whilst the business is accelerating. At a time when consumers are more open to changing accounts and value the flexibility of an additional account, we are excited about working closely with Justin.”
