Get involved with Digital City Festival’s event on how Northern agencies can embrace AI

AI agencies event Digital City Festival 2024

The North is home to a thriving ecosystem of integrated and digital agencies, always on the hunt for the next big thing. The next big thing is already here – AI, and it’s moving at a rapid pace.

But how do agencies ride this wave of rapid adoption, and to what extent should agencies integrate it into operations and client work in future? We’ll be exploring this in more detail with agency experts at How can Northern Agencies Embrace AI, a dedicated anchor event as part of Digital City Festival on 18 April.

This event will not only address both the opportunities and challenges AI poses to the region’s digital and integrated agencies, but unite the agency ecosystem to address how to keep up and grow with AI’s rapid advancements.

There will also be an exclusive reveal of Prolific North’s prestigious ranking, the Top 50 Digital Agencies list for 2024. You can find out more about submitting your agency’s information here.

Take a look at the first five agency leaders taking part in some of the panel sessions at the event, with more to be revealed soon.

Nadine Clarke, Strategy Partner, Tangent

Nadine Clarke will be joining the first panel session alongside Jack Sails. She specialises in crafting strategic initiatives that drive digital transformation across the agency’s brand portfolio. With experience in managing digital programmes for global brands like SAP and IWG, her approach sees her exploring the effects of digital shifts on product, process, and people, to deliver tailored outcomes.

Alex Myers, Head of Marketing, The SEO Works

Alex Myers is a multi-award nominated marketer, with extensive experience and a passion for brand building, specialising in the B2B space working in sectors such as recruitment, training, and now digital marketing. He will be joining the second panel session called Beyond experimenting where we’ll address how Northern agencies can embrace AI in operations and with clients, explore the extent agencies should be integrating AI, and the challenges or opportunities with AI for the future.

Louis Georgiou, Chief Creative & Technology Officer, EssenceMediacom North

Joining Myers on the second panel, Louis Georgiou’s specialism is in digital transformation and organisational change, balancing technology, people and processes, to build high performing team cultures. Together with Kenny Skelton, Georgiou has led Generative AI adoption for EssenceMediacom in the UK, with its proprietary AI solution now being rolled out globally.

Lewis Sellers, Managing Director – Web Division, idhl

Also joining the second panel alongside Alex Myers and Louis Georgiou is Lewis Sellers, who heads up the web and e-commerce division of idhl Group following the acquisition of his e-commerce agency Pinpoint in 2017. He now leads a team of 130 digital experts working with over 100 e-commerce clients at idhl Group.
