Fledgling Liverpool agency delivers brand and packaging for rapper’s baby skincare brand

Fledgling Liverpool branding, packaging and design agency OneMay has delivered the brand and packaging, and continues to deliver campaign work, for children’s skin and haircare brand Nala’s Baby.

Nala’s Baby is a natural skin & hair care brand for children, founded by rapper Krept (aka Casyo Valentine Johnson), from the Jay-Z covering hip hop duo Krept & Konan, and partner Sasha, who named it after their daughter.

As well as being natural, Nala’s Baby is paediatrician approved, eczema friendly, 100% vegan and tear free.

OneMay was briefed to create a strong and fitting brand that would ensure the bottles look great on shelf, and in the bathroom at home.

The brand initially launched into Boots in 2022, reaching one million sales in its first six months. Today, the brand is valued circa £50m, and is stocked in Tesco, Morrisons & Ocado, picking up two Mother & Baby Awards along the way.

OneMay launched on the cusp of 2022/23 and has already posted turnover of £226,745 in its first full year of trading. The agency has also taken on its first full time hire, and intends to keep growing this year.

It works with everyone from start up brands to global businesses. One of its highest-profile brand partners is Olam Agri, an agricultural business operating in 30+ countries, valued at $3.5bn.
