Out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm 75Media has appointed two new members to its Scottish team following its acquisition of iQ OOH last month.
Ian Moore joins as business development manager. With over 15 years of experience in OOH, he has worked with some of the industry’s biggest names, including Primesight and Global.
Meanwhile, Lisa Conner joins the world of OOH from a career in print and digital advertising, most recently at Newsquest’s Glasgow offices. Conner takes up the post of business development executive.
Leeds-HQ’d 75Media’s takeover of London’s iQ saw it gain iQ’s 81 digital panels, including nine in Scotland located in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Paisley, for its portfolio.
75Media previously acquired 122 new Scottish billboard sites – including Scotland’s largest roadside advertising structure, the M8 Tower in Glasgow – in April 2023 as part of its long-term partnership with Wildstone, the UK and Europe’s leading provider of outdoor media infrastructure.
The company will now operate more than 500 billboards, at least 200 of them digital, in a range of large formats across the UK, moving the business towards its goal of becoming the UK’s number one roadside OOH network.
The company has also just launched another digital board at Milton Link on the A1 in Edinburgh, which sees more than 700,000 vehicles passing every fortnight.
As well as pursuing an organic growth strategy with infrastructure partner Wildstone as part of a 10-year agreement, 75Media is also currently looking for further acquisition opportunities in the industry.
