Jay Lau, formerly head of marketing at hair extension and styling specialist LullBellz, has taken up a new post for 2024 as head of brand marketing at boohooMAN.
Lau, who has also served as commercial director at both social and live commerce brand OOOOO and AI proptech specialist Boomin, joins the men’s divivision of the Manchester fast fashion giant as it increasingly looks to make its mark in the digital sphere.
Late last year boohooMAN signed a partnership with EA FC community platform and esports organisation FUTWIZ which will will see boohooMAN branding appear on FUTWIZ jerseys at esports tournaments including the EA FC Pro Open.
The brand has also worked alongside gaming media specialist Kairos Media to “bridge the gap between gaming and lifestyle” with activations around the popular Call of Duty gaming franchise.
Lau described himself as “unbelievably excited” about the new role.
