Beattie Communications has added two new staff to its Leeds team.
The PR agency, which also has a Manchester office, has appointed Michael Sargood and Matthew Fraser as account manager and PR assistant respectively, in two newly created roles.
Sargood joins from Local Dialogue, where he was PR manager, and has previously had communications roles at CE Electric UK, North Yorkshire County Council and Liverpool Land Development Company.
Fraser has recently graduated in PR from Leeds Beckett University, but spent time with Beattie on work experience in his second year.
Danielle Bishop, senior account director at Beattie Communication’s Leeds office, said: “Michael and Matthew are two strong additions to our Leeds office.
“We are delighted to be growing our team. Over the past 12 months, we have created campaigns and produced stand-out results for established clients such as Specsavers, Land Securities and easyJet as well as bringing new clients into the portfolio such as The Federation of Small Businesses and Hawes & Curtis.
“We have ambitious growth plans and our recent move to our new viaduct offices at Church Walk in Leeds was the first step in realising our growth strategy.”
