Prohibition PR has won the brief to support the UK launch of the self-care product brand, Ostrichpillow following a competitive pitch.
Renowned for ergonomically designing long lasting and versatile products that promote rest, relaxation, and overall wellbeing, Ostrichpillow has appointed Prohibition to execute a focused PR strategy that grows the brand’s presence in the UK market, facilitating its expansion into some of the biggest retailers, making its products more accessible for consumers and penetrating the competitive UK retail market through integrated communication strategies.
With an established presence in the US, Ostrichpillow is looking to introduce UK consumers to its unique and diverse range of products, including the popular travel Go Neck Pillow, which enable and encourage users to embrace rest anytime, anywhere, even in the midst of life’s busiest moments.
Established in 2012, the brand first gained popularity through its flagship product the Original Ostrichpillow – as seen on Schitt’s Creek – a cocoon-like pillow that blocks out light and noise. Through continued expansion, Ostrichpillow now offers a wide variety of other sleep and relaxation products, such as the Eye Mask, the Heated Neck Wrap, the Go Neck Pillow and the Memory Foam Bed Pillow.
Known for its strategic and results-driven approach, Prohibition PR will help Ostrichpillow enter the UK retail market through the delivery of an integrated communications service, which includes press office and campaign activation, influencer engagement, press event management and retail sampling.
