Route has hired high-profile media planner, Greg Paterson, to become its Head of Client Planning.
Newcastle-born, Paterson returns to the city after several years in the capital, most recently as Planning Partner at dentsu international, with clients including Pringles, Kellogg’s Cereals, Mastercard and Heineken.
He’s also been Planning Director at at MediacCom and Strategy Director at PHD, leading on HSBC and Vauxhall.
“I’m delighted to be back in the North East and to have joined such an established and rapidly growing agency. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in, working closely with such a talented and close-knit team, all of whom are passionate about our industry and delivering big results for clients,” he said.

At Route, he’ll be responsible for all client strategy and planning, while also cementing the team’s knowledge and skillset across all media.
