Plant-based breakfast brand Alpro is holding a special Breakfast Club in Manchester on September 14 in a bid to “help people kick-start their mornings the right way.”
The Alpro Breakfast Club will serve guests a delicious breakfast with a side of laughter, with the two-hour morning event featuring a comedy set from comedian and Ted Lasso star Ellie Taylor, a cookery demo from TikTok star Poppy O-Toole and a mouthwatering plant-based breakfast.
Anna Kochanska, head of marketing at Alpro, said: “Our research shows that people are starting the day feeling rushed and uninspired. However you breakfast, getting off to the wrong start – whether that’s eating the same mundane breakfast, or consuming negative content online – impacts both our morning, and ability for us to be our best selves from that point on. Switching up your routine and starting the day right with a tasty breakfast and whatever makes you happy can set you up to be your best version of you.”
Taylor added: “As a self-proclaimed brekkie fanatic, I know that what I eat and what I consume online during the morning can set my mood for the rest of my day. The research showed that too many of us are getting off to the wrong start each day, which is why I’m on a mission alongside Alpro to help Brits shake up their breakfast routines.”
Alpro Breakfast Club tickets can be booked for the Manchester event for £10 on Eventbrite, with all proceeds from the ticket sales being donated to the charity. For those who can’t attend the Breakfast Club, a squad of talent including drag queen The Vivienne, comedian Kae Kurd and influencer and professional chef Martyn will all share bite-sized uplifting content to help Brits break up with mundane breakfast habits and be their best self throughout the day – from tasty recipes to helpful morning hacks.
