Manchester-based strategic brand and design consultancy Studio North has expanded its team and won new business as it eyes further growth in North America.
The expansion comes following what the agency describes as a “record-breaking” first half of 2023.
The consultancy, based on George Leigh Street in the heart of the city, has enhanced its offer with a trio of new hires who will help to support the agency’s rapid growth.
Lola Banks joins Studio North as senior account manager, with Tanya Fox recruited as junior designer and Daisy Whalley coming on board as account executive.
Nick Wright, managing director at Studio North, says: “Manchester is rapidly becoming the talent capital of the UK and we’re delighted to welcome Lola, Tanya and Daisy to the Studio North family. We’re proud to hire and nurture the next generation of talent and inspire fresh, emerging creative people into the industry.”
The recruitments will support a number of new account wins and organic growth projects at the consultancy.
With a roster of new clients including Eppione, Vibrantz, CFG, All My Health and EPM, the consultancy has delivered a diverse range of branding projects across a number of sectors, including technical, manufacturing and professional services. Studio North has also marked a 15-year partnership with national transport giant Stagecoach this year with a number of projects which have driven further organic growth.
In the USA, Studio North has been appointed to develop the identity, brand and wider marketing strategy for DayGlo, a world leader in the manufacture of fluorescent pigments. DayGlo is the latest in a number of clients in North America, prompting Studio North to plan a major strategic hire in the near future to help the agency further expand into this territory.
Wright said: “We’re also very pleased to celebrate a host of new account wins and we’re extremely excited to be growing our presence across the pond and taking on some terrific branding work in North America. We work with clients nationally and internationally, but we’re passionate about having our head office in Manchester as we continue to implement our ambitious growth plans.”
