Chris Nawrocki is chief marketing officer and co-founder of business growth agency Heur.
He founded the agency alongside Chris Raven in 2019, which now has office bases across London and York. A passionate ecommerce leader with over 14 years of experience, since launching Heur has acquired digital marketing agency Out To Sea and boasts clients such as Union Hand Roasted Coffee, Drake’s, and Jaded London.

The person that has inspired my working career the most, and why
It’s very hard to pinpoint one singular person. I have been very lucky to have crossed paths with so many amazing people that have had such positive impacts on my life. How about a short list of a few? My first-ever mentor Ryan Atkins for taking that person with no direction and shaping a path forward that allowed me to start in eCommerce. Adrian Ramani for always believing in what I can do; sometimes, the smallest positive note is all you need to drive through a tough time. Angela Crouch for taking a chance on me on a very difficult project and supporting me all the way. In short, I’m inspired by everyone I have been lucky enough to cross paths with over the years.
The place that has inspired my working career the most, and why
It has to be London; the sheer volume of opportunities that the city has to offer is mind-blowing. Also, it has a rare ability to evolve as you age or your tastes change… you can move to a different part of the city and have a completely different experience… or go out in a different part of town and see things that don’t exist in your local area. It’s the most challenging place I have lived but the most rewarding if you can figure it out.
The thing that has inspired my working career the most, and why
Starting my own business has made me rethink everything that work means to me. We work on things that we love. We work with great people that are all mind-blowing in their own right. We can change the way an industry is built. Spending 13 years cutting my teeth in digital has allowed me to meet amazing people and build something great. There is nothing more rewarding than growing your own business and seeing how it can positively impact the people you work with.
