Evoluted, a leading full-service digital agency has completed a £100k transformation of its Grade II listed Sheffield office space – despite having a remote team.
After months of renovations, the new Evoluted office in a former cutlery works is now ready to “facilitate a thriving work culture.”
Giorgio Cassella, MD of Evoluted, said: “Our vision was to create a fun hub for the team that not only reflects our agency’s identity but also showcases our updated branding. By revamping our space, we’re showing our long term commitment to sticking around and growing even more. I’m particularly thrilled with the new collaborative workspaces, which I believe will inspire us to achieve even bigger and better results this year.”
Nonetheless, the decision to invest £100k in an office refurbishment for a company with a predominantly remote workforce seems unusual.
Cassella expanded on the matter: “As we embraced a hybrid team structure with remote workers, we realised the importance of a central space where all employees can come together for social events, collaborative projects, and client meetings. So we transformed the Evoluted office into a vibrant, inviting, and productive workspace for those who choose to work there regularly or occasionally.”
Despite the majority of Evoluted’s business activities taking place online, the agency acknowledged that face-to-face interactions hold unmatched value. Therefore, it remains essential for Evoluted to provide opportunities for in-person meetings with clients and prospects.
The office refurbishment has also introduced cutting-edge in-house technology to enhance the Evoluted team’s content creation capabilities, including a new in-house video production and podcasting studio.
The new space also keeps sustainability and environmental impact in mind. Throughout the refurb process, Evoluted’s office project team sought opportunities to minimise energy consumption. Measures included the installation of automatic lights with the ability to illuminate specific working areas, low-flow and pressure regulation to reduce water usage, and improved accessibility for recycling.
Cassella added: “We wanted a place that would wow potential clients when they visit, with a magnificent boardroom showcasing our numerous awards, leaving no doubt that Evoluted is the agency they should partner with.”
