Northforge, the Leeds-based animation and motion graphics studio, has appointed Andrew Swepson as executive producer.
Swepson has previously worked for 20 years at some of the UK’s most renowned VFX houses and production companies, including The Mill and Absolute, as well as founding Menagerie PR, a specialist marketing & PR consultancy for creative companies in 2012.
Swepson has delivered PR and marketing strategies for dozens of companies across the advertising sector. After moving to Yorkshire he now works with organisations across the region and will continue to own the consultancy, while embarking on his new role at Northforge.
Northforge itself originally engaged the services of Menagerie PR five years ago, and it became apparent that the two could work more effectively if a more permanent role was explored. Now based at Northforge, Swepson will further capitalise on his near 30 years of experience in advertising, helping to guide the studio on the next phase of their development.
As a familiar face on the London advertising scene, Swepson has a track record for raising profiles, implementing growth strategies and increasing sales of businesses across the advertising and post-production sector. In his new role he will oversee the sales and marketing strategy and act as executive producer across the studio’s projects.

London is often regarded as the epicentre of excellence in the design and animation field, but since moving to Yorkshire I’ve been blown away by the extraordinary talent that’s available across the region.
