Mediaworks North West managing partner stands down

Mediaworks - Oliver Goldring

Mediaworks North West managing partner Oliver Goldring is to stand down after 15 months in the role and head for pastures as yet unknown.

Announcing his decision, along with the cryptic information that he’d be announcing details of his next chapter “later this week,” Goldring highlighted a number of achievements during his 15 months in post.

These included opening the agency’s new Manchester office at Colony Cowork, closing the year as Mediaworks’ number one regional office for new business sales, delivering a host of new client wins, including the group’s biggest single win of the last three years and generally growing the brand’s North West network and brand.

Goldring added: “That’s a wrap! After 15 months as North West Managing Partner at Mediaworks and achieving what we set out to, my time here has officially drawn to a close.

“Since joining the MW SLT in January 2022 with the remit of establishing an office and growing the Mediaworks brand across the North West, I’m proud of what’s been achieved over this period.

:Massive thanks to my two NW team members for your contribution and hard work to help deliver on this success.

“I’d also like to personally thank my Mediaworks peers in other regions Gillian Ball, Paul Mallett, and Nick Smith for your support, as well as Gillian Hall for the opportunity and expert guidance to the LT.

“I’m pleased to have achieved what we set out to do and be leaving the NW team in a good place for the future and wish them all the best.

“I’ll be announcing details of my next chapter later this week. It’s a good one.”
