N Brown Group has announced that Dominic Appleton will be its new Chief Financial Officer.
Appleton, who’s spent the majority of his career in the ecommerce sector, will succeed Rachel Izzard.
“We are delighted to welcome Dominic to the N Brown team,” said Steve Johnson, Group Chief Executive Officer of N Brown Group.
“His considerable expertise and experience gained in consumer businesses, particularly in digital retail and financial services, will make him a key addition to the executive management team.”
He moves from Shop Direct Group, where he’s spent a total of 10 years, most recently as Interim Group Finance Director. He’s also been CFO at VictoriaPlumb.com and Hotter Shoes.
“I’m excited to be joining Steve and the N Brown team next month,” added Appleton.
“I have admired N Brown for some time for their inclusive vision and I’m very much looking forward to supporting the strategic transformation journey of this great business.”
He will become CFO Designate on 1st March.
N Brown said that it’s “currently envisaged” that Rachel Izzard will leave the company, and that Appleton will join the Board, following the completion of the FY23 Annual Report and Accounts at the end of May.
